Carlos Alberto Rocha aka "Rhythmatic" is een professioneel autodidactisch danser/DJ/drummer. Carlos heeft een indrukwekkend CV. Hij heeft samengewerkt met o.a . het Scapino Ballet, Conny Janssen Danst, Jazz EX, Big Mama, Brain Power, New Cool Collective big band, Zuco 103, rapper Unique en Black Eyed Peas. Hij is ook een choreograaf en docent aan verschillende dansinstanties binnen en buiten Nederland. Geboren in Nederland, maar zijn wortels liggen in de Kaap Verdische Eilanden, West- Afrika. Hij maakt deel uit van de eerst generatie hip hoppers in Nederland. Hij is sinds 1980 bezig met de kunst van b-boying en vertegenwoordigd wat hij noemt “De Dutch Funkness”. Carlos is beïnvloed door James Brown en Michael Jackson en werd begin jaren ‘80 aangetrokken door de Amerikaanse hiphopcultuur. Helemaal verslaafd aan hiphop is hij tussen begin jaren 80 en 1997 lid geweest bij verschillende crews zoals The Perfect Combination, Magnificent Force, MC Rockers en D-Control.

Binnen 2daPoint is Carlos onmisbaar met zijn kennis van hiphop en buitengewone vaardigheid om met moderne en klassieke balletdansers te improviseren.

Carlos Alberto Rocha aka "Rhythmmatic" is a professional self-taught Dancer/DJ/Drummer. Carlos worked with various Dance/Music/Theater projects, like Scapino Ballet, Conny Janssen Danst, Jazzex, BigMama, Brainpower, New CoolCollective Big Band, Zuco103, rapper Unique, Black Eyed Peas and many more. He also works as a dance instructor/choreographer. Carlos is 39 jears old and lives in Holland. Carlos was born in Rotterdam but his roots are from The Cape Verdian Islands in West Africa. He's from the first generation Hip Hoppers in Holland and have always been representing the B-boy art forms since 1980. He represents the original DUTCH FUNKNESS! At the age of nine in 1979 he started to dance the "James Brown" and "Michael Jackson" styles. In the early eighties he became inspired by the American HIP HOP culture, such as ElectricBoogie, Popping and Locking and general Break Dance. Since then he's been a very active B-Boy and danced in many crews such as: The Perfect Combination and Magnificent Force in the early 80's, MC Rockers from middle 80's to'89,. From1990 until 1997 he danced with a crew called D-Control, a dance theater formation which mixed many styles like Breakdance, Janet Jackson funk styles, and all the newest dance hypes. He also represented fully in All Star Breakers '96/'97 and 010 B-Boyz '98/2002.

Within 2daPoint Carlos is irreplaceable thanks to his vast knowledge of hiphop and unique ability to improvise with classical and modern dancers.
